At the going down of the sun and in the morning....

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.

Joy Kortbeek (Friend) January 8, 2009

x Admiration, gratuity and profound respect x

As the sun rises I still feel the blanket of night
You are the one now who will have eternal light
My heart aches, each part of me filled with sorrow
We've fought today, but I need the strength for tomorrow
Your memory, your presence I promise we'll protect
And with it our admiration, gratuity and profound respect
So sleep peacefully now, may your heart be filled with pride
We'll fight harder, be stronger, knowing you're by our side
They haven't won, they've pulled us together
They haven't taken you away because you'll live forever
So I'll catch each tear and hold my head high
I'll smile and Thank You but won't say 'Goodbye'

Hero

If only we had a battalion of brave soldiers like you this world would be a safe place.
You the ultimate sacrifice for protecting people you did`nt even know how brave is that.
If there is one thing that has come out of your death is you will never be forgot, in a hundred years time poeple will be reading about you and thats without dout.
I hope your family and especialy your son will come to terms with there sad loss.
I salute you mate..from an ex soldier.
God Bless and R.I.P

Mr Sexy Husband Man

My perfect man - how I miss you more and more each day. Thank you for everything, I look back on all we shared and actually smile when I think of you instead of crying.

I wish you were still here but I know you will be watching over us all and guiding us through life.

You certainly caused a bit of fuss over Christmas you little monkey :)

Much love now and always - see you one day again I hope.

Silent Tears

Each night we shed a silent tear
As we speak to you in prayer.
To let you know we love you
And just how much we care.
Take our million teardrops
Wrap them up in love.
Then ask the wind to carry them
To you in Heaven above.

Dedicated To A True Hero

Dear Lord

There`s a young man or woman far from home
Called to serve their nation in a time of war;
Sent to defend our freedom
On some distant shore.

We pray you keep them safe,
We pray you keep them strong,
We pray you send them safely home
For they`ve been gone so long.

Bless those who await their safe return
And those who mourn the lost
Bless those who serve this country well
No matter what the cost.

Amen
